This project consists of a photovoltaic plant of 2,5 MW built in three phases. It was built in a U.S. Army barracks.
- The need to coordinate with the Army to build the plant.
-
It presented a technical challenge as we had to build the plant without disturbing the day to day activity of the Military Service.
The construction of this plant compromised three separate phases:
- Nevada Army National Guard I: construction of 1,25 MW in Carson City (January-April 2010).
- Nevada Army National Guard II: construction of 0.6MW at the training complex of Floyd Edsall (January-May 2010).
- Nevada Army National Guard III: construction of 0,6 MW at the Readiness Center, Las Vegas (January-May 2010).
- Reduction of 3.105 tons of CO2 emissions per year.
- A total of 4.140 MWh of electricity are generated per year.
- The construction of this kind of plant allowed for the generation of employment in the state of Nevada.
